If customers don’t want to make the trip to Chennai, the customers can instead take part in a one-day workshop on racing techniques to be conducted by India´s popular professional racing professional Alisha Abdullah in Kathmandu on June 26.
The selection process for the Yamaha R 15 championship will be held on June 27 after the workshop.
BoAN opens branch in Pokhara
KATHMANDU, May 25: The Bank of Asia Nepal (BoAN) has opened a new branch in the western city of Pokhara.
The chairman of the bank, Trilok Chand Agrawal, inaugurated the branch amid a function on Monday, says a press release. The release says that the new branch offers personal finances, corporate banking and all the other modern banking services to its customers.
On the occasion, the bank also unveiled two new savings schemes--"BoA Nari Shakti Savings" and "BoA Fifty Plus"-- which target women and senior citizens. According to the release, the customers of the women savings scheme will enjoy interest returns of 7 percent, while senior citizens will get 9 percent interest returns on their savings.
The bank has further announced that to better serve its clients, it is opening three new branches in Kathmandu on Wednesday and an additional two branches by the end of this fiscal year.
Kasthamandap opens second ATM
KATHMANDU, May 25: Kasthamandap Development Bank (KDB) has added a new automated teller machine (ATM) in Gongabu. The chairman of the bank, Jagannath Gyawali, inaugurated the ATM, which is installed within the premises of its Gongabu branch.
With the coming into operation of the new machine, the number of ATMs of the development bank has reached two, says a press release. The bank operates nine branches across the country.
The bank´s deposits has reached Rs 1.48 billion and loans, Rs 953.1 million, as of the first nine months of the current fiscal year. "The bank´s net profit reached Rs 9 million over the first nine months of this fiscal year," states the release.
The bank has also announced that it is making the necessary preparations to issue public shares.
