KATHMANDU, May 25: The third edition of the Berghaus Yak Attack 2009 Biking Series Race, to be held from May 27 to June 2, will feature 22 cyclists.
The one-week-long, 227 km championship is jointly organized by the Nepal Cycling Association and Dawn Till Dusk Mountain Bike Trekking Private Limited, with the assistance of British Agency Extreme World Challenges.
The biking series, which will start from Besi Sahar, Lamjung, will finish at Khaniyaghat, Myagdi. Along the route, the bikers will also travel through Manang and Mustang, states a press release issued by the Nepal Cycling Association on Monday.
Altogether, 16 Nepali participants--including one woman and six foreign cyclists, including one woman--will compete in the championship.
The every day winner (series champion) and the overall champion will bag a cash prize of £ 100 and £ 500, respectively.
