The water flow has risen from 1, 02, 000 cusec on Sunday evening to 1, 14,400 cusec this morning. The water level is on the constant rise every passing hour. [break]
According to the District Police Office, Sunsari, 14 of the 56 flood gates of the Koshi barrage have been opened and more gates will be opened with the rise in the water flow.
Once the water flow crosses the 1,50,000 cusec, a red light alert will be shown at the barrage.
