Vehicular movement halted along Beni-Jomsom road

BABIYACHAUR (Myagdi), July 22: Vehicular movement along the Beni-Jomsom road section has been obstructed from today after a surge in the water level in the Rupse rivulet at Dana VDC-2 in Myagdi.

The road section links Mustang district with the national highway via Beni, the district headquarters of Myagdi district.


Supervisor at Myagdi Jeep and Bus Entrepreneurs' Committee, Padam Chhantyal, said that passengers have been hit hard as they have been compelled to reach their destination by changing vehicles one after another places.

Transport entrepreneurs said that they have been facing problem to operate the transport service for delay in construction of motorable bridge over Rupse rivulet. RSS
