KATHMANDU, Feb 11: Nepal Rastra Bank has set the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the value of the US dollar, euro, British pound sterling, and Swiss franc has increased.
The exchange rate for one US dollar is set at Rs 139.67 for buying and Rs 140.27 for selling. The exchange rate for one Euro is Rs 144.33 for buying and Rs 144.95 for selling.
Similarly, the buying rate for one British pound sterling is Rs 173.41, while the selling rate is Rs 174.15. The Swiss franc stands at Rs 153.54 for buying and Rs 154.20 for selling.
The Australian dollar is being traded at Rs 87.74 for buying and Rs 88.12 for selling, while the Canadian dollar's rates are Rs 97.43 for buying and Rs 97.84 for selling. The Singapore dollar is valued at Rs 103.23 for buying and Rs 103.67 for selling.
For the Japanese yen, the buying rate for 10 yen is Rs 9.18, and the selling rate is Rs 9.22. The Chinese yuan is exchanging Rs 19.12 for buying and Rs 19.20 for selling. The Saudi Arabian riyal is valued at Rs 37.24 for buying and Rs 37.40 for selling, while the Qatari riyal is set at Rs 38.31 for buying and Rs 38.47 for selling.
According to the central bank, the Thai baht is set at Rs 4.12 for buying and Rs 4.14 for selling. The UAE dirham is valued at Rs 38.03 for buying and Rs 38.19 for selling. The Malaysian ringgit stands at Rs 31.25 for buying and Rs 31.38 for selling. The South Korean won (per 100) is exchanged at Rs 9.64 for buying and Rs 9.68 for selling. The Swedish krona is set at Rs 12.81 for buying and Rs 12.86 for selling, while the Danish krone is Rs 19.35 for buying and Rs 19.43 for selling.
Nepal Rastra Bank has set the exchange rate for one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 17.93 for buying and Rs 18.01 for selling. The Kuwaiti dinar is valued at Rs 452.33 for buying and Rs 454.27 for selling. The Bahraini dinar is set at Rs 370.52 for buying and Rs 372.11 for selling. The Omani riyal stands at Rs 362.77 for buying and Rs 364.32 for selling.
Likewise, the exchange rate for 100 Indian rupees is Rs 160.00 for buying and Rs 160.15 for selling. Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that the exchange rates can be revised at any time if necessary. The rates set by commercial banks may differ, and the updated exchange rates will be available on the central bank’s website.
