US Dollar strengthens, Euro and British Pound weaken

KATHMANDU, Aug 29: The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has announced today’s (Thursday) foreign currency exchange rates. The value of the US Dollar, Australian Dollar, and Kuwaiti Dinar has risen, while the Euro and the British Pound have weakened.

KATHMANDU, Aug 29: The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has announced today’s (Thursday) foreign currency exchange rates. The value of the US Dollar, Australian Dollar, and Kuwaiti Dinar has risen, while the Euro and the British Pound have weakened.


For today, the buying rate of the US Dollar is set at Rs 134.03, with a selling rate of Rs 134.63. Yesterday, the buying rate was Rs 133.99 and the selling rate was Rs 134.59.

The buying rate for the Euro is Rs 149.12, and the selling rate is Rs 149.78. Yesterday, the buying rate was Rs 149.66 and the selling rate was RS 150.33.


The British Pound is priced at Rs 177.13 for buying and Rs 177.92 for selling. The previous day’s rates were Rs 177.17 for buying and Rs 177.96 for selling.


For the Australian Dollar, the buying rate is Rs 90.96, and the selling rate is Rs 91.37. Yesterday, the rates were Rs 90.92 for buying and Rs 91.33 for selling.


The Kuwaiti Dinar has a buying rate of Rs 439.00 and a selling rate of Rs 440.96. Yesterday’s rates were Rs 438.91 for buying and Rs 440.87 for selling.


Similarly, the Bahraini Dinar is set at Rs 355.61 for buying and Rs 357.20 for selling. The previous day’s rates were Rs 355.56 for buying and Rs 357.15 for selling.
