KATHMANDU, Aug 31: The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has announced the foreign currency exchange rates for today (Saturday). The value of the US dollar, Euro, and British Pound has decreased, while the Qatari Riyal has seen an increase.


Today, the buying rate for the US dollar is Rs 133.89, with the selling rate at Rs 134.49.

For the Euro, the buying rate is Rs 148.39, and the selling rate is Rs 149.06. Yesterday, the Euro's buying rate was Rs 148.58, and the selling rate was Rs 149.25.


The British Pound's buying rate is Rs 176.45, and the selling rate is Rs 177.24. This marks a decrease from yesterday’s rates of Rs 176.66 for buying and Rs 177.45 for selling.


The Australian dollar's buying rate is Rs 91.01, with a selling rate of Rs 91.42. Yesterday’s rates were Rs 91.32 for buying and Rs 91.73 for selling.


The Kuwaiti Dinar is currently at a buying rate of Rs 438.33 and a selling rate of Rs 440.29, compared to yesterday's rates of Rs 438.60 for buying and Rs 440.56 for selling.


Similarly, the Qatari Riyal's buying rate has increased to Rs 36.73, with a selling rate of Rs 36.90.
