LAMJUNG, April.16: CPN (UML) Lamjung called on district strike today protesting against unruly behavior of the YCL.

The party had expressed commitments to reduce strike in the district just three days ago.
Very few vehicles in the district are plying though strike organizers have not halted on vehicular movement. The main markets, industries and educational institutions are off in the district due to strike.
Normal life in Besisahar, Udipur, Bhoteodar, Sundarbazaar and others is crippled after the strike.
Some 15 cadres of YCL thrashed UML cadres and Youth Force District member Rishi Raj Basnet on Wednesday in Udipur.
Injured Basnet was rushed to Kathmandu last night for further treatment.
