Aryal was expressing displeasure over the party leadership ever since the convention of All Nepal Women’s Association held in Pokhara. Earlier, UML politburo member Ram Chandra Jha had also defected to the UCPN (Maoist).
Meanwhile, Nepali film actress Rekha Thapa has also joined UCPN (Maoist) today.
Dahal urges UML leaders not to burst into emotions
KATHMANDU, May 18 (RSS): Addressing the program, Dahal said entry of leaders from different parties into the UCPN (Maoist) would help contribute to make a single communist party in the country.
He said, "Factionalism and splits would not bring about success in the communist movement. All communist forces joining in a single center is a historical as well as nation´s necessity."
On the occasion, the former Prime Minister Dahal also urged the CPN-UML to move ahead with coordination and asked the UML leaders not just burst into emotions.
"We had wished to unite with the UML. We urged the UML leaders to contest the erstwhile Constituent Assembly elections by forging an alliance. But, they turned down our proposal," the UCPN (Maoist) Chairman said.
Dahal also termed the entry of communist leader Aryal and famous actress of Nepalese film industry Thapa into the UCPN (Maoist) as a strange coincidence. He also expressed confidence that entry of Aryal and Thapa, among others would help institutionalize the political achievements in the country.
Speaking on the occasion, leader Aryal said she returned to her own house by crossing many ups and downs after joining the UML in 2046 BS and expressed commitments to fulfill the given duties in the party.
Similarly, actress Thapa said she joined the UCPN (Maoist) with a motive to serve the country and people through politics.
On the occasion, UML Narayani Zone Committee Member Pitambar Mahato Tharu, Professor Shyam Sundar Sherpa and Ganesh Kumar Majhi among others also joined the UCPN (Maoist).
