Earlier on March 21, Jha, who was also UML´s politburo member, had quit the party citing differences with party leadership over some crucial political issues such as the proposed federal model.[break]
Resigning from the party Jha had also accused the party leadership of depriving genuine party members, including him, of any role in the party organization and promoting only those close to the leaders.
