KATHMANDU, Jan 5: The Central Committee meeting of the CPN-UML is getting underway today, Sunday, at 11 AM in Chyasal.
Prime Minister and Party Chairperson KP Sharma Oli will present the political report at the meeting. This time, arrangements have been made for each Central Committee member to express their individual views, with approximately three minutes allocated per member.
In the meeting, Chairperson Oli will speak about the national political situation. The report includes topics such as future plans, organizational strengthening, government formation, constitutional amendments, economic reforms, cooperatives, and more. The meeting is expected to conclude within two days.
Earlier, on January 2, the Secretariat meeting had approved the report. The first Central Committee meeting under Oli's leadership following the formation of the government will establish positions on issues like constitutional amendments.
