Two Indians trying to acquire Nepali citizenship arrested

KALAIYA, May 13: Two Indian nationals have been arrested on the charge of trying to get Nepali citizenships by presenting fake details at the Integrated Mobile Service Camps at Kabahigoth and Simraungadh in Bara district, said Police Inspector of the District Police Office, Ramnath Ghimire.



Ghimire said Imrit Yadav of Hardiya-6 had tried to provide citizenship to Jhuki Narayan Yadav, an Indian national at the mobile camp at Kabahi Goth, falsely presenting him as his son.



Likewise, at the Simrongadh Mobile Service Camp, Hridyanarayan Saha had tried to give citizenship to Manoj Kumar Saha, an Indian national by presenting him as his son at the camp at Haripur-4 of Bara.



The District Court has extended time for investigation on both of them.
