Gyandhwaj Lama, 35, of Sindhuli Sitteshwari VDC-2 died after drowning in the dam of the under-construction Chameliya Hydropower Project. Lama was a worker with Lumbini Kankai PS JV Company and was found dead in Shikhar VDC-4, the police said.
Meanwhile, a person who was missing for the past five days was found dead on Saturday. Jamanram Lohar, 51, of Galfa village in Sunsera VDC, Darchula, was found dead in a river near his home. Police suspect Lohar, who had gone to work in a neighboring village, could have died after falling off a cliff.
