Two children fall to death in pit

PALPA, June 28: Two children died in Satyawati VDC of Palpa district falling into a toilet pit on Sunday morning. Grandsons of Gambar Singh Darjee, Bishnu Darjee, 6, and Birendra Darjee, 5, lost their lives falling into the toilet safety tank.



Rescue process could not be carried out as the family members had gone out for household chores when the boys drowned. Locals said funeral rites of the children were completed after the postmortem in Palpa District Hospital. The boys were studying in Khursane Primary School in the village. The father of the boys is working in India.
