Memberships of ANNISU-R Sunsari district treasurer Laxmi Oli and district member Dipendra Yadav was canceled at the meeting held under the chair of ANNISU-R Sunsari president Madan Chudal.
The meeting unilaterally decided to sack both of them for working for individual interest in the name of students´ welfare.
Meanwhile, ANNISU-R handed over a memorandum to the District Education Office, Sunsari, demanding that the state guarantee education as a fundamental right. They also called on the Tribhuvan University to roll back the decision to hike the examination fee at the earliest.
