According to company officials, the new Zest scooter comes with best in-class handling features, mileage, storage capacity and pick up.Zest is 760 mm tall and weighs 98.5 kg weight. The scooter gives the best in-class mileage of 62 kilometer per liter, the officials said. Zest is powered by a new 110 cc CVT-i single cylinder, air-cooled, carbureted engine which churns out 8 BHP and 8.8 Nm. It has 19 liter under-seat storage capacity, which, according to the company, is the largest capacity in the segment.
"Zest gets side body panels with revised accents, along with a fancy rear end which gets a new LED tail-light and indicator setup that blends very well with the scooter's aesthetics. The scooter also features drum brakes at the front and rear, a 110-mm one at the front and a 130-mm one at the rear," the company said in a press release.
Other features of the scooter includes LED tail lamp, first in-class car like Back Lit Meter Console, double stitched seat and leaf shaped mirrors.
According to the company, Zest features the best in-class pick up of 0-60 kilometers per hour in just 11.1 seconds. It is available in 5 metallic colors -- dynamic white, terrific turquoise, powerful pink, daring black and fiery red.
