Tumlingtar Airport reopens

SANKHUWASABHA, Feb 17: Tumlingtar Airport, which had been closed for 10 days due to adverse weather, reopened on Monday. Flights on the Kathmandu–Tumlingtar–Kathmandu route have resumed following improved weather conditions.



Nawaraj Dahal, chief of the Civil Aviation Office, confirmed that flights between Kathmandu and Tumlīngṭār are now operational.

The suspension of air service was due to poor visibility caused by fog. Private airlines have been operating services at this airport.
