Transport workers held for gang rape

DHARAN, May 20: Police apprehended three transport workers here on Thursday suspecting their involvement in a possible gangrape in a garage.



Among those arrested are Suman Pariyar of Dharan, Kushal Rai of Itahari and Raju Dhimal of Damak.



Police suspect that on Tuesday night, some 15 men gang raped an unidentified girl brought in a bus (Ko 1 Kha 2143) to Koshi garage in Bargachi from Pathari.



The apprehended youths have denied their involvement but admitted that the girl was gangraped by others.



Police are searching for the girl and the rapists.
