The deceased has been identified as Rajaram Yadav of Aurahi VDC-1 and was the President of the Party´s Youth Committee, the District Police Office said.
Yadav, who was a district member of the CPN (Maoist) is the past, was shot dead from the behind as he was drinking at a liquor shop at Aurahi.
He died on the spot, Superintendent of Police, Sanjaya Raj Sharma said.
A manhunt for the murderers is underway, police said.
