KATHMANDU, June 30: The meeting of three major political parties held Tuesday to seek solution to the ongoing parliamentary deadlock ended inconclusively after the Maoists continued to stick to their demand for correction of the presidential move reinstating the army chief.

According to Nepali Congress leader Bimalendra Nidhi, the Maoists continued to demand that the proposed address by the prime minister in the parliament should mention the “unconstitutional” move of the president.

But the Nepali Congress and the CPN-UML leaders were of the opinion that the issue of the president´s move be discussed at the political level, not in the parliament.

Nidhi said they are going to hold talks with other the Maoist leaders again on Wednesday morning.
