KATHMANDU, May 22: Three people have died in accidents that took place in different places of the country in the last 24 hours.
In Nawalparasi district, a woman died after she was run over by a truck at Daldaley, Pragatinagar-1 in the district on Thursday afternoon.
Police said the woman who was waiting at a passenger´s waiting shed was run over by the truck which veered off the road and entered the shed on the roadside.
In another incident that took place in Gajuri of Dhading district this morning, 30-year-old Kumar Tamang of Goganpani VDC-4 died on the spot when the tripper he was traveling on fell down the road into the Maheshkhola gorge at Bhumesthan VDC-6.
Police said the tripper loaded with gravel was heading towards Kathmandu from Baireni.
A report from Tulasipur, Dang district said a girl was killed and three members of a single family injured when a house collapsed at Jhopro, Ramdi-4 in Pyuthan district last night.
According to the Zonal Police Office, Rapti, the deceased is 10-year-old Sita Giri, the daughter of Basanta Giri. Giri, his wife Gita and son Kisan Giri were injured in the house collapse. Nine goats were also killed in the accident.

Meanwhile in Udayapur, an unidentified group killed a boy Thursday evening.
Police said the boy was found murdered in the kitchen at 6:30 pm on Thursday. According to the boy´s mother, she had gone to buy note-book for her son and found that he was murdered when she returned half an hour later.
Police is investigating the murder and police personnel have been deployed at different entry points of Udayapur to arrest the murderers.
