The TASC said they padlocked the VDC offices to make Nepal banda called by various ethnic fronts a success.
Talking to myrepublica.com, the TASC District President Prakash Tharu said the padlock was part of boycotting local government.
The TASC activists had padlocked various VDCs including Gobardiha, Gangaparaspur, Satbariya, Sisahaniya, Bela, Gadhawa, and Lalmatiya in the district.
