“We will import the bike from India where it is assembled. But its parts are imported from Japan,” Pramila Khatri, showroom manager of Ganesh Enterprises, said. [break]“The Hayate 110cc will cater to customers looking for a stylish and economical bike for daily commute.”
The Hayate 110cc features four cylinder engines and comes with multi-plate type clutch and wet sump lubrication system. It gives mileage of 55-60 km per liter mileage on highways and has fuel tank capacity of 12 liters.
"The bike will stand out in the market as it has five gears, whereas all other bikes in its segment have four gears. Also has attractive look,” Khatri said.

The new bike will compete with entry-level bikes from other brands like Hero Honda Splendor, Bajaj Discover and Honda CB Twister and Yamaha YBR. Ganesh Enterprises targets to sell 1,000 units of Hayate 110cc within a year of its launch in Nepal.
Suzuki India had launched the bike during Auto Expo 2012 held in the Indian capital in January. Initially, Hayate will be available in three colors - Red, Black and Blue.
Ganesh Enterprises is currently marketing three models for daily commuting -- GN 125cc, GS 150cc and Slingshot 125cc. It is also introducing Suzuki Swish scooter in the Nepali market in the near future.
Similarly, it is selling six high-end Suzuki models -- B-King, Hayabusa, GSR-600, GXSR-600 and GXF 650 -- in Nepal.
“We have already sold 30,000 units of GN 125cc that was introduced in Nepal three decades ago,” Khatri said.
