KATHMANDU, Nov 23: A questionable object has been found near the residence of Koshi Province Chief Minister Hikmat Kumar Karki in Jhapa, causing panic among the local residents.
Locals have reported that the paper on the object had the words ‘Jai Durga Mata’ written on it. After the object found under the tree was deemed suspicious, a disposal team from the Nepal Army was called from Charali, Jhapa. The police have begun investigating the object.
Chief Minister Karki had arrived at his house in Gauradaha, Jhapa, from Biratnagar this morning.
