Students protest fuel price hike, set vehicle on fire

KATHMANDU, Dec 7: Students enraged by the fuel price hike have set a government vehicle on fire at Chabahil, Kathmandu on Tuesday morning.



The vehicle with registration plate Ja 1 Jha 341 belonging to Underground Water Resource Development Committee, Birgunj was damaged.



“Police intervened in our peaceful demonstration injuring seven and arrested a few,” Jagannath Dulal of Nepal Students Union said. “Police intervention enraged our friends.”
