Student bodies hold demonstrations in front of campuses

KATHMANDU, May 8: Different Student organizations including the Nepal Students Union, All Nepal National Free Students Union and All Nepal National Independent Students Union-Revolutionary demonstrated in front of all the private and government campuses across the nation on Wednesday morning.



The student organizations demonstrated for an hour from 8:00 am to protest the appointment of former Chief Secretary Lokman Singh Karki to the post of Chief of the Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) and his oath taking.[break]



The student organizations in Kathmandu valley also demonstrated near the Office of the President at Sheetal Niwas from 9:00 am-10:00 am.



Spokesperson of NSU, UP Lamichhane, said that the meeting of the United Students´ Organisation to be held today will release further programmes of protest.
