KATHMANDU, March 7: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidate Sobita Gautam has maintained a wide lead in Chitwan-3.

According to the latest update, Sobita has secured 41,163 votes. She has pushed her closest rival, Nepali Communist Party (NCP) candidate Renu Dahal, behind by a margin of 25,501 votes. Dahal has received 15,662 votes.
Similarly, Nepali Congress candidate Tek Prasad Gurung has received 5,354 votes, while CPN-UML candidate Shankar Raj Thapaliya has secured 3,874 votes
