Citizen Bank beat Machhapuchhre Bank by four wickets. Machhapuchhre put up 61/1 in five overs as Sunit Shrestha scored unbeaten 31 runs off 14 balls. In reply, Citizen reached 65/2 in 3.3 overs.
In another match, Global IME Bank thrashed Commerz and Trust Bank by six wickets. Commerz and Trust put up 56/3 in five overs and Global IME reached 62/0 in 2.4 overs.
Likewise, Kantipur Media Group edged past Sanima Bank by six wickets. Sanima put up 65/2 in five overs. In reply, Pankaj Koirala scored unbeaten 35 runs off nine balls to guide Kantipur to 67/0 in 3.3 overs.
NMB Bank registered a five-wicket victory over Laxmi Bank. Electing to bat first, Laxmi Bank put up 65/2 in five overs. NMB reached 69/1 in 2.6 overs as Mohan KC scored unbeaten 31 runs off seven balls.
Meanwhile, Pappu Construction crushed Nabil Bank by 33 runs. Pappu Construction scored 88 runs in five overs losing a wicket as Rajesh Yadav scored unbeaten 33 runs off 14 balls. It restricted Nabil at 55/2 in five overs.
Century Bank beat Siddharth Bank by 12 runs. Century put up 72/1 in five overs riding on Diwesh Dangol´s 32 runs off 15 balls. In reply, Siddharth reached only at 60/4 in five overs.
Earlier, a friendly match between Secretary XI and Media XI was held to inaugurate the corporate tournament. Secretary XI won the match by three wickets.
