The School Leaving Certificate (SLC), which is popularly known as the 'Iron Gate', has started across the country. It began in all the exam centers from 8 am today. As many as 574,685 examinees are taking their SLC exams from 1,862 exam centers. Unlike the previous year, the examinees have to write down their symbol No on both the answer sheet and question paper in a bid to conduct the exams more effectively and to preempt the possible leakage of the question paper.
