When superintendent let off SLC examinees flouting rules …

DAILEKH, July 29: Examinees appearing for the first paper of supplementary SLC exam were found cheating using mobile phone in the exam hall in the district on Friday.


Flouting exam rules, the examinees, who were writing English paper at Saraswati Higher Secondary School exam center toady, were caught asking their own subject teacher for answer through mobile phones.

 District Education Officer Bishnu Prasad Gotame seized over half a dozen mobile phone sets after the examinees were found cheating taking advantage of the modern communication technology.


The examinees were allowed to write exams taking their future into consideration, after warning, said Ganesh Upadhyaya, superintendent of the exam center.


A total of 1,067 examinees from 90 schools took the supplementary SLC exam at Tribhuvan Higher Secondary School and Saraswati Higher Secondary School exam centers.
