Speaking at an interaction program organized by Revolutionary Journalists Association in Pokhara on Wednesday, Dahal said that a CJ-led government was meant to resolve present crisis. [break]
He claimed that the parties took the decision when they were left with just two options, either resolve the crisis or push the country to failure state.
"The parties fail to strike a deal for the past nine months. If the present scenario continued it would take another nine months to seek consensus among parties," Dahal added, "Thus, we opted for this (CJ-led government) option."
"The Supreme Court comprises people like us. They are aware of crisis in the country. I don´t think the Supreme Court take any decisions that will push the country to further crisis," an optimistic Dahal said.
He refused to buy the Nepal Bar Association accusation that proposal of the CJ-led government was to interfere supremacy and competency of the judiciary. "There are legal arguments against the CJ-led government but we (parties) have considered the only option that can resolve the present crisis."
