KATHMANDU, March 29: Police have released six individuals who were detained during a protest staged against the arrest of CPN-UML chair and former prime minister KP Sharma Oli.
The individuals were taken into custody from the Babarmahal area during the demonstration and were later released, police said.

However, one of those arrested has been identified as a fugitive in a banking offense case and remains under police custody, according to authorities.
