Sinha donates Rs 100,000 for installation of light in tennis courts

KATHMANDU (REPUBLICA): Non Resident Nepali Umesh Sinha, who is currently based in Australia, provided All Nepal Lawn Tennis Association (NLTA) with Rs 100,000 to install solar lights at the tennis courts in Satdobato on Monday.Sinha handed over a check of that amount to NLTA president Manoj Ran. Out of six tennis courts at Satdobato, solar lights will be installed in newly constructed courts, five and six.

"According to technicians, installing an ideal light system will cost Rs 300,000. This is just the initiation I have taken. I am hopeful about collection of remaining amount," said Sinha. Thanking Sinha, Rana said that players who could not manage time during day, will be able to practice during the evening.
