RAJBIRAJ, March 20: A student attending the Secondary Education Examination (SEE) was killed after getting struck by a truck at Rupnagar of Saptari along the East-West Highway this morning.
The truck (Na 1 Ka 5200) heading east rammed Nitu Kumari Thakur, 16, of Bhardaha, Saptari, Area Police Office, Kanchanpur said.
Nitu, who sustained serious injuries in the accident, died on the way to Gajendra Narayan Singh Sagarmatha Zonal Hospital based in Rajbiraj, according to police. The police have detained the truck driver. RSS
