Playing his best round ever, the 16-year-old carded a round of six-under 66 on Friday. Saini has total 10-under 206, four clear of local favorite Rupak Acharya. [break]
Acharya, who went toe-to-toe with Ashbeer in the early part of the round, could not match the young golfer´s pace and had to be content with a round of two-under 70, which puts him at six-under 210 for the tournament. Acharya had cards of four-under 68 and even par 72 respectively in the first and second rounds.
The long-hitting Shiva Ram Shrestha made his way into the leader group for the final round after shooting a round of three-under 69. His second consecutive under-par round took his tournament total to two-under, one clear of fourth-placed Mithun Perera.
The Sri Lankan amateur shot one-over 73 after a day when his disobedient putter curtailed his challenge. Bangladesh´s Milon Ahmed carded a round of five-under 67 to move into fifth place behind Mithun.

The final round looks set to produce exciting golf and with as many as five Nepali professionals in the top-ten going into the final round of this year´s tournament, which offers a record purse of three million rupees.
