The day belonged to Indian Ashbeer Saini, who continued his rhythm. The 16-year-old teenager, representing India in the amateur section, returned the best card of the day with two-under 70. Saini, who had the same card in the first round, has a total of four-under 140 and is tied with Acharya.
Sri Lankan youngster Mithun Perera, who had a card of two-under 70 in the first round, played even par in the second round. Amateur Perera is two shots behind leaders Acharya and Saini in total.
Nepali Pro golfers Shiva Ram Shrestha, Rabi Khadka and Bangladeshi Md Rezaul Karim are in fourth position with one-over 145 in total after the end of day II.
Rupak completed every hole in the first nine on par and continued it until the 14th hole. He shot a bogey in the 15th hole of par 5 but made a birdie on the 17th hole of par 4 to return a card of even par.
Saini, on the other hand, completed the front nine in four-under 32 but shot two-over 38 on the back nine.
The leader board still wears a very pleasant look for the local fans with as many as six Nepali players in the top ten.
