Sailesh wins three golds

KATHMANDU, June 16: Sailesh Rana won three golds in the fifth Pramod Memorial Swimming Tournament that kicked off Tuesday at the Satdobato swimming pool. The event has been organized by Nepal Swimming Association.



Pramod won a gold each in men´s 200 m freestyle, 200 m backstroke and 50 m breaststroke. Khim Bahadur KC and Om Bahadur Kumal bagged the bronze and silver respectively in freestyle.



In backstroke, Kisimlal Tharu and Prakash Adhikari garnered the second and third positions respectively.



In breastroke, Prassidha Jang Shah and Kisimlal Tharu finished second and third respectively.



In men´s 100 m butterfly, Chandra Singh Mahato, Sailesh Rana and Lal Bahadur Mahato secured top three spots.



In women´s 200 m individual medley, Karishma Karki earned the gold while Shaila Rana and Shreya Dhital bagged silver and bronze respectively.
