KATHMANDU, June 16: Nepal's top rated chess player Rupesh Jaiswal won silver and bronze medals in the 16th ASEAN Age Group Chess Championship's U-18 Blitz (5 minutes) and Rapid (25 minutes) sections respectively on Tuesday.

Rupesh rated 2238 collected seven points in Blitz section winning six rounds, drawing two and losing one out of nine rounds to win the silver.
In Rapid sections, Rupesh collected 4.5 points winning four rounds, losing two and drawing one out seven rounds to bag bronze. Meanwhile, Bibek Thing finished 13th in the U-20 Rapid section.
