KATHMANDU, March 7: Candidates of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) have secured victories in seven more House of Representatives constituencies across the country.
In Kailali-1, RSP candidate Komal Gyawali won with 17,826 votes. Nepali Congress (NC) candidate Janak Raj Chaudhary secured 12,867 votes, while CPN candidate Ramlal Dangaura Tharu finished third with 8,392 votes.
In Rupandehi-2, RSP’s Sulabh Kharel was elected with 56,550 votes. CPN-UML candidate Bishnu Prasad Paudel secured 12,861 votes, while NC candidate Chunnu Prasad Paudel came third with 9,392 votes.

In Rupandehi-3, RSP’s Dr. Lekh Jung Thapa was elected with 58,814 votes. NC candidate Sushil Gurung secured 8,435 votes, while CPN-UML candidate Basudev Ghimire received 8,275 votes.
Similarly, Som Sharma of RSP won from Baglung-2 with 12,647 votes. NC candidate Tek Raj Paudel secured 11,868 votes, while CPN-UML candidate Manju Chalise finished third with 7,864 votes.
In Lalitpur-1, RSP candidate Buddha Ratna Maharjan secured victory with 23,373 votes. NC candidate Udaya Shumsher Rana received 13,520 votes, while CPN-UML candidate Chet Nath Sanjel finished third with 6,546 votes.
In Baglung-1, RSP candidate Sushil Khadka won the seat with 20,927 votes. NC candidate Bhim Shrees secured 11,944 votes, while CPN-UML candidate Hira Bahadur KC received 8,640 votes.
Similarly, Buddhi Prasad Pant of RSP was elected from Parsa-1 with 27,274 votes. CPN-UML candidate Pradeep Yadav secured 13,030 votes, while NC candidate Anil Kumar Rungta received 11,885 votes.
