The council was padlocked by the RSFN, a sports wing of UCPN (Maoist) from May 2.
A meeting between the RSFN President Jayandra Bahadur Chand and NSC acting Member-secretary Samim Miya Ansari decided to open the locked gates of NSC.
According to the press release issued by the RSFN on Thursday, the padlock was opened to facilitate the training of Nepali players for the upcoming Youth Asian Games to be held in Singapore and Asian Games to be held in China.
