Royalists still active: Khanal

ILAM, Oct 11: Chairman of CPN-UML Jhala Nath Khanal said that a fight between republican forces and royalists was still underway even though monarchy was abolished.



Laying the foundation stone for the construction of a new police post at Ketani of Ilam on Monday, he said, "Royalists are still active. Therefore, we need to defeat them."[break]



On the occasion, he urged security forces to work with high morale and said police personnel should be active to end corruption.



He also assured of all possible support to construct the police post being constructed in the land donated by Arjun Gurung in memory of this parents.
