Rickshaw puller injured in fight killed

KATHMANDU: Shyam Nepali, 28, a rickshaw puller originally from Chhatra Deurali-6 of Dhading, who was injured in a minor scuffle at Baangemudha-28 of Kathmandu with other rickshaw pullers, died while undergoing treatment at Bir Hospital on Sunday.

 According to the metropolitan police, he fell unconscious after being injured in the head and was rushed to the hospital. Nepali was admitted to hospital by his sister Gita Nepali. According to police inspector Hem Kumar Thapa, Hari Upreti, 29, of Lothar-6, Chitwan has been arrested for knocking Nepali down. Nepali breathed his last at around 4:45 am, said Thapa.
