´Essence of Yoga´ authored by Dharmadas Ajaya, a spiritual yoga teacher, is published by Pathik Foundation. Speaking during the launch program organized by Pathik Foundation, Ajaya stated that the book was a result of his 35 years of experience. Further, he said that people understand yoga in two ways – as a form of physical exercise, or something related to yogis. [break]

The book explains what yoga really is, how it’s applicable in today’s world and why we need yoga.
“I’ve written the book in the contemporary language so that everyone understands the true meaning of yoga. It also contains more information than other yoga-related books,” he said.
The Vice President has written a foreword to the book, which states that the book impressed him and managed to explain “the complex concepts so clearly and so effortlessly.”
The book is priced at Rs 300 and Rs 500 for paperback and hardcover issues, respectively. ´Essence of Yoga´ will also be published in Nepali in a few months. According to Ajaya, the publishers are also planning to publish the book in some ethnic Nepali languages as well as some European languages.
