KATHMANDU, Oct 25: Narayanman Bijukchhe, chairperson of the Nepal Workers and Peasants Party, has said research plays a major role in politics.
He said people active in politics must study and conduct their own research to understand social problems, identify facts and find solutions.

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the two-day 46th Nepal Bhasa Literature Conference in Bhaktapur on Saturday, Bijukchhe said political success requires learning from others’ experiences as well as gaining knowledge through personal effort and hard work.
Held at Yatama in Gomari, Bhaktapur Municipality-7, the conference carried the slogan “Janata Mwaasa Bhasa Mwai,” meaning “The language survives if the people survive.”
The two-day event featured discussions on Nepal Bhasa, literature, art, culture and contemporary social and political issues.
