Following this, on the direction of the Prime Minister, the Secretariat called Acharya's family and forwarded the rescue process. Acharya was rescued on November 14 in coordination with the Ministry of Labour and Employment, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

On Thursday, Acharya was at the Prime Minister's Office in Singha Durbar to express his gratitude. He thanked the Government of Nepal and the Prime Minister's Secretariat for facilitating his return home and saving his life.

Prime Minister Dahal said the government was serious regarding the problems faced by Nepalis abroad and urged Acharya to work in Nepal itself with high morale. RSS
