PANITANKI (Morang), Jan 23: Daily life in Rangeli, the old headquarters of Morang is slowly returning back to normalcy.

Locals were in a state of shock following Thursday's incident when three people were killed and eight others injured in clash between demonstrators and police.

The United Dialogue Atmosphere Facilitation Committee is taking the lead in ensuring that the shocking incident does not get any communal color. Member of Parliament Shiva Kumar Mandal, who is leading the committee, has been holding all-side discussion to ensure that there is no further damage. The committee brings together people from all walks of life.

Security has also been eased following the request of the locals and traffic is getting back to normal, said Chief District Officer Toyam Rayamajhi.

The incident Thursday took place after the Madhesi Front tried to disrupt a program hosted by the Youth Association of Nepal. RSS
