The festival is going to be organized with the purpose of developing, expanding and promoting rafting so as to promote tourism.
NARA expects that there will be participation of around 700 people from the age varying from 14 to 70 in the festival.
At a press meet organized in the Capital today, General Secretary of NARA, Megh Bahadur Ale expressed the confidence that the objective of NARA will be fulfilled if 60 per cent rafting agents operated illegally could be stopped.
