Pro-democracy groups join hands for NC victory

KATHMANDU, Oct. 19: The joint meeting of the democratic professional organizations held on Friday has come to the conclusion that no democratic constitution will be made if Nepali Congress, which is the true custodian of democracy, does not get majority in the next CA election. [break]



The press communiqué signed by Chairman of the Democratic Lawyers Association, Yadunath Khanal, Chairman of the Central for Democratic Engineers Association Kishor Shakya, NPU Chairman Kiran Pokhrel, General Secretaries of the Nepal Teachers Union and Nepal Democratic Professors Association Rajendra Raj Poudel and Jagat Timilsina, and Dr Kedar Narsingh KC of the Nepal Democratic Medical Association, urged one and all to make Congress victorious in the upcoming CA election.
