KATHMANDU, Oct 26: Minister for Culture, Tourism and Aviation Prem Ale said that he will not join hands with private companies to weaken the Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC).
Stating that the NAC’s ground handling task was given to private companies for personal gain in the past, Minister Ale expressed his commitment to not follow such steps during his tenure.

Speaking at his welcome program organized by the Nepal Tourism Board on Tuesday, Minister Ale announced his plans to bring two unused aircrafts into operation to bring tourists inside the country.
Minister Ale said that he is working towards removing Nepal from the blacklist of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). He clarified that he has appointed Yuvaraj Adhikari as the executive chairman as per the demand of the employees' unions and organizations of the corporation.
Minister Ale also said that the work to bring unused aircrafts into operation to promote tourism will be done. He also said that he has become a minister to solve the problems in the tourism sector.
Minister Ale said that he was not in favor of staying in office if he could not solve the problems seen in the tourism sector caused by the coronavirus pandemic.
