Prime defeated Ullens 54-28 during the first match in the boys´ category. Deepak Pun scored the highest 13 points for the winning team. Prime were ahead of Ullens in all quarters with scores of 20-7, 15-7, 13-9 and 6-5.
In another match of the boys´ category, Golden Gate ´A´ defeated Golden Gate ´B´ 61-39. Bikram Dangol scored 18 points for the victorious team. Golden Gate ´A´ won the first three quarters 10-4, 17-6 and 20-10 while Golden Gate ´B´ won the last quarter 14-19.

The girls´ team of Prime thrashed National Campus 47-15. National Campus couldn´t score a single point in the first quarter as Prime led by 14-0. The score of the second quarter was 19-4 while there was a 4-4 draw in the third quarter. The last quarter was in favor of Prime 10-7. Dewashree Malla scored 20 points for Prime.
Likewise, the girls´ team of White House thrashed Xavier International 29-6 in the third match. Sami Tamang netted 11 points for White House. Xavier International appeared helpless in front of White House in the first two quarters 10-1 and 9-0. They showed some improvement in the last two quarters 4-2 and 6-3 but still could not outplay White House.
Tashi wins Indian Ambassador´s Cup Golf
KATHMANDU, Nov 7: Tashi Tsering won the Indian Ambassador´s Cup Golf Tournament held at the Gokarna Golf Resort on Saturday.
Tsering won the overall championship trophy scoring 30 gross points. Harish Gorsia was runner-up of the tournament played in ¾ stableford handicap format. NK Rai, who scored 38 points, was the net score winner. Niranjan Sharma was second but he was far behind Rai as he had a net score of 26.
Mrs Song came first in the ladies´ class with 37 points. She was five points ahead of the runner-up Mrs Yoo. Retired Lt Gen KNS Thapa emerged the winner of the Veterans´ Section (Above 65-yrs) accumulating 34 points.
Indian Ambassador to Nepal Rakesh Sood awarded the winners. Organizer Indian Embassy also awarded Ashwini Saxena (longest drive, Hridesh Singh (closest-to-the-pin), Mrs Dhanoa (winner of the ladies´ putting competition) and Bibha Rana (runner up of the ladies´ putting competition). German Ambassador to Nepal Verena Graffin Van Roedern was awarded the best golfer among the four ambassadors who took part in the event.
A total of 78 golfers, including 13 ladies, took part in the annual event.
KCTC win cricket series
KATHMANDU, Nov 7: Kathmandu Cricket Training Center (KCTC) won the two-match Twenty-20 Cricket Series against Nasik Cricket Club India 2-0 on Saturday.
KCTC won the first match of the day by 28 runs and outclassed Nasik by 6 wickets in the second. In the first match, KCTC, batting first, put up 120 runs at the loss of 8 wickets. In reply, Nasik were all out for 99 in the last over.
In the second match, Nasik, batting first, compiled 63 runs. Following the small total, KCTC met the target in the 10th over losing 4 wickets.
Golden Gate, DAV into semis
